The southern end of the High Point Trail runs through Mason Neck State Park, and connects to the nearby hiking trails as well as the park's waterfront. The northern part of the route parallels High Point Rd. and connects to other recreation opportunities like the Pohick Bay Regional Park and Meadowood Recreation Area.
Parking is available at the southern end of the trail in Mason Neck State Park.
