The Highland Boulevard Trail is a spacious asphalt sidepath trail that runs alongside Highland Boulevard on the eastern edge of Bozeman. Following the route of the roadway, the trail passes through residential areas on the northern and southern ends, providing a safe and convenient path for residents to walk or bike to local parks, shops, and the nearby hospital. Along the way, the gravel path that runs west and north to Burke Park branches off from the paved trail, allowing pedestrians to make a detour into one of the city's many lovely local parks.
No dedicated trail parking is provided for this trail; parking may be available at the Bozeman Softball Complex located at the intersection of Highland Boulevard and Ellis Street. The northern end of the trail is located just east on Main Street from downtown Bozeman.
Location: Bozeman, MT
Trail Condition: Nice wide fairly new pavement.
Signage: Warning signs only.
Comments: If starting from Main Street this is a climb to the finish but a nice downhill on the return. Check out trails in the nearby Lindley Park area. Can access them from this trail.
