Located northwest of Bozeman, the Valley Center Trail offers a straight east-west route along its namesake roadway. Beginning at Jackrabbit Lane (State Route 85) in the community of Cowan, the paved pathway travels 4.5 miles toward I-90. The western half of the trail traverses farm fields with mountains in the distance; as the trail moves east, it becomes residential.
There's a small parking lot at Valley Grove Park on Mountain Lion Lane. Always observe posted rules when you park.
Trail was clear of snow. Lots of sand
