The Interurban Trail is so named because it sits partly along the route of the Denver Tramway Trolley's Golden Line. The streetcar system once criss-crossed metro Denver and served the area for 40 years before being decommissioned in 1950. The trail also shares a right-of-way with an electric utility. It's 1.3 miles of concrete along the border of Arvada and Wheat Ridge, Colorado and passes through two parks: Four Acre Lake Park and Jack B. Tomlinson Park. There's ample signage along the trail to help trail users navigate.
Park at Jack B. Tomlinson Park on Garrison Street across from 51st Street.
