Riverpoint Park sits nestled into a bend of the Pawtuxet River in West Warwick, Rhode Island. The park accommodates the 400-ft arboretum which leads to 1.3-mile riverside path known as the Senator Roch Riverwalk that traces the curve of the Pawtuxet. These facilities are managed by the Jaycees. Walkers, joggers and cyclists are welcome on the Riverwalk, with their leashed pets (pets and bikes are not allowed in the park itself). The trail traverses the Washington Secondary Bike Path, a 19.2 mile rail-trail from Cranston to Coventry, which passes very close to the park.
The walk features a range of colorful native vegetation, flowers and seasonal plantings. There are over 72 species of shrubs to be found in the area. Wildlife like deer and bunnies can be spotted along the trail. The impressive flora is maintained through the work of volunteers.
Riverpoint Park is located at 110 Hay Street. There are 100 parking spaces available, including ADA accessible-spots.
