Winding through the Jenni Rivera Memorial Park (2001 Walnut Ave), this bike path takes you behind houses and local businesses. The long rectangular park and its meandering trail follows the former Pacific Electric Railway right-of-way. Stretching from Orange Ave to Walnut Ave in Long Beach, this open green space runs along the border between the Signal Hill and Poly High neighborhoods. It features a tribute to singer Jenni Rivera for whom the park is named. The 125-foot-long mural honors Rivera's life, music, charitable work, and her love of her hometown, Long Beach.
Picnic benches along the trail provide a place to rest or enjoy a meal and very short connector paths offer access to the nearby residential/commercial areas. The trail briefly continues past the end of the park and curves along the north edge of Chittick Field (1900 Walnut Ave), which has a trail of its own and a running track. Overlapping a short portion of Chittick Field's path, the Jenni Rivera Memorial Park Bike Path concludes at its southern point by East 19th Street's dead-end.
Parking is available at Chittick Field (1900 Walnut Ave, Long Beach) and along E 21st Street.
