Knoll Road Trail Description

The Knoll Road trail is part of the Southern Pines Greenway system in Moore County, North Carolina. It is 1.5 miles and relatively flat, coursing through a quiet residential area of the community of Southern Pines.

From Midland Road the trail heads south through a forest of southern pines, following Knoll Road itself. At the roundabout the trail veers left to end near Pinecrest Plaza. Form more information, contact:

Parking and Trail Access

From the Pinehurst traffic circle, take the south exit on US-15/501/CR 211. Continue on and turn left a short way later onto Morganton Road. Turn left at Knoll Rd and park near the Dairy Queen, where you will find the southern end of the trail beside the apartment buildings.
