At just under a mile in length, Leland Grove's trail is the kind of space people go to for a quick workout or simply a breath of fresh air. The tree-lined trail parallels Outer Park Drive from Bates Avenue north to Illini Country Club, on the southern edge of Springfield's famous Washington Park. A short stretch of the trail consists on an on-street sidepath. Pleasant neighborhoods, plenty of landscaped greenery and rolling fairways form the setting for the trail. Leland Grove is an incorporated community adjacent to Springfield, IL.
