The North 1st Street Trail parallels its namesake road through Lincoln's northwestern neighborhoods between Cornhusker Highway and Superior Street. Near its southern end, the trail offers access to West Lincoln Park, which has a playground and basketball court. The concrete pathway also connects to two other trails at either end: at its northern terminus, it links up with the Superior Street Trail and, at its southern end, it's anchored by the Oak Lake Connector Trail.
Parking is available at the Oak Lake Park, just south of Cornhusker Highway. The entrance to the park is on Charleston Road, near the intersection with Sun Valley Boulevard.
