Don't let the Panhandle Passage Trail's small stature fool you, it is just the start of an incredible adventure that awaits you in Tuscarawas County and one that you will remember for years to come. At just over a mile in the charming county of Tuscarawas. Tuscarawas County has so many exciting attractions and is a wonderful Ohio oasis. Tuscarawas County is one of several counties that the majority of Ohio's Amish community calls home. While immersing yourself in the Amish community be sure to check out the Amish Country Theater for some unique treats and talents. History buffs will feel right at home in the Dennison Railroad Depot Museum. With ties to WWII and the lineage of two former US Presidents there is enough to keep visitors preoccupied for hours. The variety of wineries available provide exceptional options for quenching the thirst of any wine lover.
Parking is available at McCluskey Park in Dennison.
I rode the Panhandle Passage Trail in Dennison and Uhrichsville, Ohio. This isn't so much of a trail as it is an on-street loop through the parks and recreational areas of these twin towns. The most interesting or unusual part of the ride was a twisted loop through Uhrichsville’s cemetery. The only "trail" here was within Dennison's McCluskey Park around the baseball fields and playground. The route is great for the locals but it is not something I would tell people to go out of their way to ride.
