The Qunnipiac Linear Trail is an easy multipurpose path in Wallingford, Connecticut. The trail skirts Community Lake while traveling a heavily wooded corridor along the Quinnipiac River. It is one of a number of riverside greeenways along the Quinnipiac - others include the Quinnipiac River Gorge Trail in Meriden and Quinnipiac River State Park Trail in North Haven.
There is parking at the northern terminus, 380 Main St, and at the southern terminus along Hall Ave.

Pretty quick, simple and easy trail. Beautiful scenary in between. Yes CT 15 adds some noise but not unbearable. Rabbits and butterflies all along.
Like many trails, it has its uses and limitations. If you live in the area and want to go for a quick run or walk, this trail is certainly a better alternative than the streets: more scenic and no traffic. And it is fine if you have kids and want to go on a short ride with them. But the trail is just too short to put the bike on the car and drive there.
Trail is actually 2 miles now and its a great trail quick trail for beginners trying to get their exercise in. For me its easy trail to get a quick bike ride and keep in shape its my go to on a day i dont gave much time.
.....if you have a toddler tagging along. Very noisy as it’s right next to the freeway..
