Jackson County's Saluki Greenway is a 2.4-mile multi-use trail. At its northern end, the trail connects to the Mud Line Trail, and from there, the trail heads south alongside W Main St. This trail provides an excellent car-free alternative transportation route, connecting downtown Carbondale to the surrounding communites.
There is no parking directly alongside the Saluki Greenway, but just south of the trail there is parking available at Parrish Park, 2500 W Sunset Dr. (Carbondale).
