The parkway is a Schertz landmark, and the trails on either side allow walkers and cyclists to experience it in safety. The 3.1 mile is popular with Schertz residents of all ages. It has also been used as a site for fun runs and other events. The shared path connects neighborhoods along its route to parks, schools and city services. Trash cans and water fountains are available. Planned extensions along the drainage canals are in progress.
Parking is available behind the Schertz Municipal Complex (1400 Schertz Pkwy) near the Skate Park.
This is a sidewalk along a busy street with intersections and crosswalk signals. I prefer nature. No nature here, but there are lots of people walking so may feel safer for those that may like the activity level around them.
This is a sidewalk on the side of a road! I think TrailLink needs to look up what a trail is...
To me, a trail is usually a path, track or unpaved lane or road or along rivers.
