This 2.6-mile paved trail is located in Okla Sequoyah State Park (17131 Park 10, Hulbert) on the shores of Fort Gibson Lake. From the intersection of Park 10 Road and E0760 Road, the trail heads south running downhill through woods and fields within the State Park to the Sequoyah Lodge (19808 Park 10, Hulbert) and Inspiration Point, a lookout with a scenic view of the lake. Towards the southern end, the trail is combined with a fitness trail and passes by a nature center and a golf course.
Sequoyah State Park offers a wide variety of activities including swimming, camping, picnicking, guided horseback trail rides, wildlife watching, golfing, boating, and fishing. There are also nature trails, tennis courts, basketball courts, and playgrounds.
There is not any designated parking available at the northern end of the trail. In Sequoyah State Park, there is parking available midway along the trail at the Three Forks Nature Center (19460 Park 80, Hulbert) and at the southern end by the Lodge (19808 Park 10). There is a fee for parking in the park and it is necessary to obtain a parking pass. Visit the Sequoyah State Park website for more information.
