Shanda Dixon Trail Description

The Shanda Dixon Trail borders a residential area along Fremont Street in northeastern Lincoln and makes its way east to Mahoney Park. The trail circles the park, which offers athletic facilities and other amenities like water and restrooms.

Just a few blocks north of the trail, a connection can be made to the Murdock Trail, a rail-trail that stretches east-west for nearly 5 miles. And, in Mahoney Park, you can also connect to the 84th Street Trail that runs north-south.

Parking and Trail Access

Parking, drinking water, and restrooms are available in Mahoney Park (between N. 70th Street and N. 84th Street).
