The Sheridan Green Trail travels 1.5 miles between the city limits of Broomfield and the Westminster Promenade shopping center. The trail runs south along Westminster Boulevard and then travels around the northern edge of the promenade complex along Promenade Drive. The tree-lined concrete path is nestled within the manicured grassy verge on the sides of the adjacent roads. The trail leads to the Westminster Promenade Terrace, a stepped complex built into the west bank of the Big Dry Creek. The Promenade Terrace features an outdoor amphitheater and events venue, a scenic fountain and pretty gardens and trails. The Sheridan Green Trail ultimately connects to the Big Dry Creek Trail in Westminster City Park, a popular, family-friendly, multipurpose park.
Trail users can park at Westminster City Park, at the parking near the Armed Forces Tribute Garden (6001 W 104th Ave, Westminster, CO) and take the trails across Big Dry Creek to the Promenade Terrace.
