South Gorge Trail Description

Overview

The South Gorge Trail runs alongside the south side of the Spokane River through downtown Spokane for 1.44 miles.

About the Route

Starting from the west end of the trail at the People's Park Plaza, which connects to the Spokane River Centennial State Park Trail. The trail runs largely alongside the river until reaching N Monroe St., just short of the scenic Lower Falls.

Connections

The South Gorge Trail connects on either end to the Spokane River Centennial State Park Trail.

Parking and Trail Access

The South Gorge Trail runs between W Clark Ave. (Spokane), where parking is available, and N Monroe St. (Spokane).
