Rogers, Arkansas is home to a developing trails and greenways system that will one day be 60 miles and encompass the city. The War Eagle Trail is one of the existing trails, a concrete shared-use path that serves the dual role of connecting to destinations, and providing a space for exercise and recreation. The trail picks up where the Mountie Trail leaves off, on Nursery Road (heading south and west on the Mountie and Blossom Way Trails will take you all the way to the Razorback Greenway). From Nursery Road, the trail parallels S. 1st Street north, making a connection to Veterans Park. The path then faces west on Olrich and up 5th Street, ending near the Rogers Heritage High School.
Parking is available at Veterans Park (500 E Veterans Pkwy, Rogers). The closest parking is at the soccer fields along S. 1st Street.
