The Washington Recreation Trail connects trail users throughout the town of Washington, IL. It connected various schools, parks and other sites around the city of Washington, IL. About a half a mile of the trail is a rail-trail, constructed along an old-rail bed whereas most of the rest of the route was constructed along major streets and connecting routes between different neighborhoods.
There is parking available at Washington Park, 815 Lincoln St.
