The West Side Railroad Trail cuts a diagonal 1.5-mile route across Green Bay's western neighborhoods from South Oneida Street to Bond Street. Much of the paved pathway is pleasantly buffered by trees. Along the way, the trail passes Chappell Elementary School and is only about a block away from Murphy Park and Perkins Park, which both offer baseball fields, tennis courts and other athletic facilities.
Parking is available near the trail in Murphy Park (1627 Dousman St.) and Perkins Park (1598 Bond St.).
This is a very nice short trail within the City of Green Bay. Although while on the trail, it is peaceful & not busy. Great way to get across town.
I love very close to this trail and ride it a couple times a week, it’s only 1.5 miles, but it is maintained very well and even has a bicycle repair station on the trail. Lots of walkers as the weather has gotten nicer, but still great for a quick leisurely ride.
