The Westside Connector Trail is crucial to providing access for previously disconnected neighborhoods to the wider BeltLine system. The trail begins on Northside Drive and heads northwest, occupying a former railroad bed. It currently ends near Marietta Boulevard, where it will someday connect with the Westside Trail extension on the railbanked CSX corridor known as the Kudzu line. The trail is also part of a proposed link between Downtown Atlanta and the 61-mile Silver Comet Trail.
The Westside Connector Trail is a wide, flat concrete trail with travel lanes in each direction.
