Feaster Trail

short trail

This trail needs some attention and some signage. Trail surface changes from concrete to asphalt to gravel/grass.

Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail

Nice ride

May, 2023 by t.g333

Rode this today, trail is well maintained and largely follows the creek. Starting, from Hot Springs visitor center follow the brick path to the trail head. There are metal tags in the ground pointing to the Greenway trail - nice touch for out of town people! The beginning crosses through an industrial type area. We saw several, possibly homeless individuals, though non of them approached or bothered us in any way. The trails gets more beautiful as it goes. There are future plans to expand which will make this a 5 star trail.

Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail

what a beautiful trail

April, 2022 by garyandlorrie412

It’s short and that is the only negative about this trail. I rode my wife’s beach cruiser and we loved it. As fun a ride as we have had from Virginia to Florida to Louisiana to Texas. Next up Little Rock.

Hot Springs Homeless Trail

October, 2019 by tnsc.1995

First let me say the City of Hot Springs has done a beautiful job with this trail. It is paved, well maintained the sculptures are beautiful, the crossings well marked. The only down side for me was the number if homeless that seem to have made this thier own. From using the bushes as a bathroom to bathing in the brook and off course the one guy ranting to himself about something only he fully understood. That's packing a lot of human drama into a short ride. Maybe we experienced an unusual day or maybe being from a less urban area we are more sensitive. On a brighter note they were all harmless.

Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail

Great multi purpose trail

May, 2019 by anast8sia

The city of hot springs has worked hard to make this a wonderful Trail. Public art, babbling brook, and lots of shade. Can’t wait to return to an expanded trail. Really Too short for bikes now, but the staff at the visitors center promised ....soon. Will hold them to the promise when I return.

Several street crossings, but drivers were very respectful and stopped to let us pass as soon as they saw us. Safe, clean, well maintained.

Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail

Short for Bicycling But a Fantastic Multi-Purpose Trail

November, 2016 by w.vins

At its present stage of development, the Hot Springs Greenway Trail, at just 2.25 miles [there are plans to extend it to 4.2], is relatively short for a bike ride. But then, it is a multi-purpose trail within the city limits, and as such provides a fantastic opportunity for exercise. It closely follows and frequently crosses the Hot Springs Creek. Being within the city limits, it quite a few times crosses (busy) streets, but as the crossings are well marked, that is never a problem.
What we liked ever so much besides the sculptures at the beginning of the trail and the tree-carvings at Hollywood Park, was the fact that the surface of the trail was very smooth asphalt throughout, and that it was perfectly maintained. Add to this the fact that, even on such a short trail, there were more than one restrooms and water faucets, and you get – as said before – the perfect multi-purpose urban trail. Kudos to the City of Hot Springs for providing such a trail.

Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail

Short but nice.

February, 2016 by memphisfred

Nice trail, weather was uncommonly warm so there were a lot of people out. First off there are more water stops than was listed, we saw 3 but they were turned off understandably to keep them from freezing as it was January. True there is only one restroom facility but how many do you need in such a short trail.

I would make it closer to 2.5 miles as it doesn't stop at Adams but turns left and goes back and runs along the creek behind the waste treatment before coming back up to where Seneca becomes Adams.

There is a crossing button Southbound when crossing Grand St. but I failed to see one coming back from the other direction. Just be careful here as it's a 4 lane crossing.

Hot Springs Creek Greenway Trail

Great, But...

Could use more public bathrooms, only have the one at Hollywood park. Also that is the only location for water. But you can continue thru downtown to Whittington park, circle it and back and add some miles. One word of warning use all of your bike lane in downtown, because some cars don't know there is a law in Arkansas to give a 3 ft. wide berth!
