You can't swim in Green Springs but the springs are worth seeing. There was a hotel by the springs in the 1800's. People came for medicinal purposes and to relax in the spring water.

I read that the pretty Morning Glory flowers seen growing along this trail and many others, is an invasive plant. It's a very pretty flower but hopefully it's doesn't take over like the Water Hyacinths and Kudzu.
