The 30th/Northwood Trail is the newest addition to Jasper's citywide trail system and serves as a connector between the St. Charles/Portersville Trail and the Buffalo Trace Connector Trail.
Leaving from the north end of the Buffalo Trace Driving Range parking lot, the trail travels through a scenic open field winding up to Birk Drive. Here, the trail transitions into newly paved sidewalks as it travels into town passing by Ruler Foods and across Newton Street. The busy intersection at Newton Street has a pedestrian walk sign. After crossing Newton Street, the sidewalk portion of the trail quickly transitions back to asphalt as it travels west along peaceful Northwood Ave and concludes at Saint Charles Street. At this point, trail users can extend their travel by taking the St Charles/Portersville Trail north toward the elementary and middle schools or south to the high school and Jasper Parklands.
Crosswalks for this trail are at Brosmer Street, Newton Street, Market Street, Leslie Drive, Howard Drive and Westwood Blvd.
