The trail starts in the Kellettville Campground and ends at the boat launch at the Nebraska Bridge. Parking is available at both sites.
Really wouldn’t call this a bike trail. First of all, no signage marking trail. Found grass path and rode it a short distance only to find it dead ends into a stream and no way to cross. This is a beautiful area; too bad this trail isn’t maintained. It would be a great ride. We know the Nebraska bridge area well and don’t have any idea where the trail might be there. Not obvious and not marked in any way.
Walked on part yesterday. Wouldn’t want to walk on it when grasses grow tall. Too bad trail couldn’t be cleared because it is beautiful. Bald eagles flying down river. Found old bridge pier where road separated from railroad.
I searched all over the Nebraska and Kelletville ends of this trail, and there was nothing besides fire roads and fishing trails. Nothing that went more than a short distance, or followed a discernible ridge like a railroad bed.
