At Forest Road 138, there is roadside parking for just a few vehicles. The Mill Creek Trail is just a short walk south on the Twin Lakes Trail.
Use the Brush Hollow Trailhead (SR 948) to access the Mill Creek Trail on the southern end of the trail. The Mill Creek Trail is about 1000 feet north of the trailhead on the Brush Hollow Trail. There is trail information and an accessible restroom at the Brush Hollow Trailhead. This trailhead is plowed in the winter.
"Nestled next to the Clarion River in the middle of the Allegheny Forest, this Rail to Trail presents the viewer with an abundance of wildlife opportunities. While biking the trail last summer, I spotted Canadian Geese on the river, a Bald Eagle sailing overhead, white tail deer and some of the most beautiful forests I have ever seen."
