The Ayd Mill Road Trail is a wide, asphalt pedestrian/bike trail that connects Jefferson Ave to St. Clair Ave, Grand Ave and Selby Ave.
There is no designated parking for the trail.
Access the trail from crosswalks on Jefferson Ave, the St. Clair Ave overpass and the Grand Ave overpass. The sidewalk on Selby Ave becomes the north end of the trail.
A good short cut, removed from the traffic. Agree with the other review that it lacks connectivity to a larger trail plan.
Short newly paved trail runs parallel to the car road. It is awkward accessing it on the North end due to traffic on Selby and no obvious place to go on the South end. I am glad it’s their and it feels like it’s part of a larger plan. I would like to see it connect to the Greenway to the NE and trails along the Mississippi River to the South.
