Overview
The 1-mile Banbury/MOPAC Trail connects Enos Godshall Park with the Banbury Open Space, off of Rowley Court, a small neighborhood trailhead.
The trail is paved with a smooth, asphalt surface suited to bicycling, walking, and running. Although the surface is wheelchair friendly, there are some steep slopes to negotiate.
About the Route
Moving south, the trail threads a route through the Banbury Open Space for most of its route, forming a boundary between farm fields and woodlands. After passing a small pavilion, the trail descends to the Skippack Creek and adjacent wetlands, which it crosses via a footbridge and boardwalk, respectively. The trail passes through a parklike environment south of Skippack Creek, ending at a trailhead off Rowley Court, located alongside the homes of the Banbury Crossing neighborhood.
The Banbury/MOPAC Trail runs between the Enos Godshall Park, 289-299 Godshall Rd. (Souderton) and Rowley Ct. (Souderton), both of which offer parking.
