The CamRock Trail travels 2.4 miles through its namesake CamRock Park in Cambridge, Wisconsin. CamRock Park, managed by Dane County Parks, offers a number of ammenities to trail users including hiking, mountain biking and cross-country skiing trails, canoe launches, playgrounds, picnic shelters and bathrooms.
Starting at the trail's northern endpoint in Westside Park (300 W Water St), the CamRock trail heads first east and then south heading into CamRock Park and passing the first trailhead and canoe launch. The trail skirts alongside Koshkonong Creek, which it crosses four times along its route, before dipping into the woods.
About a third of the way through the route, the trail passes picnic facilities, restrooms, baseball field and playgrounds. Shortly after, the trail crosses the creek again and gives trail users access to the rougher mountain biking trails.
Near where the trail ends along Sheldon St, the southern trailhead give users access to a sledding hill, scenic vista, and more picnic shelters and restrooms.
