Central County Bikeway Description

The Central County Bikeway begins at Suisun-Fairfield train station, which is used by Amtrak and Capitol Corridor trains. The station is in a commercial area between Fairfield and Suisun City. The bikeway runs along SR 12 for most of its length. The area around the bikeway is mostly residential, but there a few parks nearby. Bicyclists can cross SR 12 at Marina Blvd to access the Grizzly Island Trail, which passes through a wetland. The McCoy Creek Path connects the bikeway to Carl E. Hall Park and a community center. The trail separates from SR 12 a few blocks before it ends at Walters Rd.

Parking and Trail Access

There is free parking at the Park & Ride located across the street from Suisun-Fairfield station at Main St. and Lotz Way. The station is also accessible by train and bus.
