The Clement Park Lake Trail is a 1.4 mile loop trail around the Johnson Reservoir in suburban western Littleton. The trail is paved and lit, and takes users around the sixty acre lake and into the massive Robert F. Clement Park, named after the late county commissioner who helped to develop the park. The trail itself offers a smooth, relaxing place for a recreational jog or walk, while the adjacent park is host to a plethora of facilities, including playgrounds, a skate park, and many athletic fields. Fishing is also permitted in the reservoir, provided you have a valid license. Those who are looking for a more linear trail experience can hop off the loop and connect with the Lilley Gulch Regional Trail at the southern end of the lake.
Parking is available at several lots within the park, accessible just off of W Bowles Avenue.
To reach the trail from downtown Littleton, take W Bowles Ave across the river and proceed for several miles, then turn left into the park, past the intersection with S Pierce Street.
