Crystal Lake Regional Trail connects two cities—Robbinsdale and Crystal—in the northwestern suburbs of Minneapolis. It also links to the Twin Lakes Regional Trail and the Grand Rounds Scenic Byway, offering a variety of ways to get around the area by bike.
From its start at Victory Memorial Parkway in Robbinsdale, the paved pathway heads northwest through tree-canopied neighborhoods to Lakeview Terrace Park and the shoreline of Crystal Lake. It continues past a few shops and the Spanjers Park ballfield to meet up with the Twin Lakes Regional Trail at the underpass below State Highway 100.
North of the highway, the trail heads west for a short distance and then north to parallel Lakeland Avenue as it enters Crystal.
Parking is available in Robbinsdale at Spanjers Park (4519 Lake Drive Ave. N.) and Lakeview Terrace Park (3769 Crystal Lake Blvd.).
