Print Friendly MapThe southern end of the trail begins on Sandy Prairie Road, just north of its intersection with Drake Hill Road, and heads north, passing by open fields and farmlands as well industrial areas. The trail parallels the scenic Eel River, with lush mountain views, fields and wide open farmland until reaching the northern endpoint on Riverwalk Drive.
Parking can be found along the trail on Riverwalk Drive (1650 S 12th Street), near the River Lodge Conference Center. See TrailLink Map for more detailed information.
The trail is well maintained. The Eel River is lovely with trees, greenery, and flowers lining the bank. On the other side are several industrial businesses. It is nice to have open spaces to stretch the legs.
Surprising peaceful for being off a main road . Beautiful views !
