Less than two miles in length, Furneaux Creek Orange Trail is a short paved paradise that proves everything doesn't have to be bigger in Texas. The Furneaux Creek Orange Trail's smooth concrete surface makes it ideal for biking, walking, and inline skating.
Nearby picnic tables and a lovely large open space provide the opportunity for a sunny picnic and the copious amounts of trees can provide a place to seek shade on those extremely hot Texas summer days.
The Furneaux Creek Orange Trail provides a pleasant journey with the potential to venture all the way to the Furneaux Creek Blue Trail. Combine both trails to extend your journey.
On-street parking is available on the residential streets along the route. You can park at Tree Line Park (1854-1886 Tree Line Dr), at Carrollton Greenbelt Park (3022 N Josey Ln), and at the City of Carrollton's Croft Outdoor Tennis Court (2100 Croft Rd). The latter two locations both have accessible spaces. Visit the TrailLink map for detailed directions.
This trail is pretty long and seems safe! It’s scenic and has cute picnic spots too.
