The Grandview Trail runs in a straight line for more than a mile on the eastern edge of Pierce County's Chambers Creek Regional Park. The trail appropriately never strays too far from Grandview Drive. Living up to its name, the trail offers stunning views of the adjacent Chambers Bay public golf course (site of the U.S. Open in 2015), Puget Sound and distant islands from its position on a 200-foot bluff.
Parking for the Grandview Trail can be found at the large lot south of the Chambers Bay Clubhouse off 62nd St. Ct. W. Additional parking is available near the trail's northern endpoint at North Meadow.
We came here with 4 grandchildren, daughter and her husband and my husband and I. It was nicely paved, mostly flat and beautiful view. Benches for needed stops, which I need for my bad knee, were wonderful. We parked at the golf course and ended at the play ground. All ages and pets were happy!
