The Jackrabbit Lane Shared-Use Path runs through quiet rural communities on the northwestern outskirts of Bozeman. The paved pathway offers a straight north-south route paralleling its namesake roadway. On its east side, the trail provides access to several businesses; to the west, the trail offers views of wide open fields. At its southern end, the path connects to the Valley Center Trail, which travels east-west.
There is no designated parking for this trail.
This trail is a segment of the Great American Rail-Trail (GART).
Location: Belgrade, MT
Trail Condition: Average width pavement in good condition.
Signage: No directional, some warning.
Comments: This trail parallels a busy highway. Not scenic but is mostly out of the city. Pretty much just a straight shot to the connection / intersection with Valley Center trail. TrailLink listed this trail as 5.7 miles long and I measured 2 miles based on the stated end points. The trail does continue south past the Valley Center trail intersection, possibly enough for the 5.7 mile length.
