This is a riverfront recreational pathway sometimes known as the Iron Street Trail or the Ironworks Trail. The trail is short, about a half mile from Johns Street north to Roosevelt Boulevard via the Lower Works Bridge. PNG Park acts as the southern trailhead. Nearby is Point Park, which overlooks the junction of Stonycreek and Little Conemaugh Rivers and provides a view of the historic Stone Bridge. Trail users will pass under that bridge as they travel along the trail on the Conemaugh's flood protection walls.
Park at PNG Park (90 Johns Street).
It is a very nice path but it is short.
