Overview
The Kirkland Trails is a developing multi-use trail network in Kirkland, NY. The trail is 3 miles long along an old rail bed.
About the Route
The 3-mile Kirkland Trails runs directly along an old rail corridor through a wooded environment. The Kirkland Trails organization manages nature's blogs about the frequent wildlife spotting including birds and wildflowers. If you look closely, there are also fairy houses along the trail, placed by the Kirkland Trails organization.
