Lake Mercer Loop Trail Reviews

Late October is the ideal time for this trail

The view from the dam, with the lake and fall colors is magnificent.

Enjoy the Silence

Great trail. Not too crowded. Lots of shade. We biked the loop with our six-year-old who rides a fixed gear bike. A few hills on the south side were a bit steep, so we did some walking, but the north side was much easier. Definitely going back.

Beautiful and easy trail around the lake. Scenery is beautiful too and not too busy.

beautiful but rocky

The scenery along this trail was beautiful, but very little was paved; the vast majority was rocky gravel. The trail was shaded, good for a hot sunny day. Do not try this trail with a road bike!

Nice walk and views

took south loop - lots of shade and beautiful lake views. could benefit from improved signage.

Wonderful trail

Wonderful trail. Deer, foxes, beaver, woodpeckers, beautiful & paved, streams/brooks, and a dam. Gorgeous wooded forest. Terrain has Inclines and declines. Good workout whether walking, jogging or biking. Connects further to Burke Lake and South Run Rec center.

Lake Mercer Trail

Very peaceful and beautiful trail. I love the fact it connects to Burke Lake trail. My two favorite trails of all time!

nice walk - beautiful

Well kept paths. Lots of opportunity to see wildlife - saw woodpeckers, an eagle, and loads of other birds. Signs of recent beaver activity. Great walk for families.
