The Lenape Trace Trail is a short connector path that links a newer residential development in Carmel, Indiana, with both the Sunrise Golf Course and the popular Monon Trail. Residents of the neighborhoods of southern Carmel can hop on the busy rail-trail directly from the Lenape Trace Trail to access the heart of Indianapolis, as well as points farther north.
Near the Lenape Trace Trail’s midpoint, the 5-acre Lenape Trace Park—from which the trail gets its name—offers a gazebo and passive green space for recreation.
Parking for the Lenape Trace Trail can be found off Windcastle Trail, the neighborhood road on the western side of Lenape Trace Park.
