Little Chico Creek Bike Path Description

This paved biking and walking path provides an opportunity to experience the scenic Little Chico Creek ecosystem in the heart of Chico, California. The trail begins on the corner of Humboldt Avenue and crosses under Golden State Highway/ State Route 99 following alongside the shady stream, ending on Bruce Road. Along the way, it also passes by other points of interest including the Teichert Ponds, a city-run wildlife refuge on SR 99 on the former site of a quarry. Children can use the trail to travel to school, since it reaches into the nearby neighborhoods and connects to Marsh Junior High as well as Little Chico Elementary.
