Print Friendly MapThe Livingston Depot Center Trail begins at the community's beautifully restored train station, built in 1902 by Northern Pacific Railroad that today houses a railroad museum open Memorial Day through Labor Day. From the depot, the paved trail heads west nestled between active railroad tracks on its north side and W. Park Street along its south side. Tall shady trees make the route pleasant and the trail makes a useful connector across this small town that's big on Old West charm.
Parking is available on the east end of the trail at the Livingston Depot Center (200 W. Park Street).
This trail is a segment of the Great American Rail-Trail (GART).
Livingston Depot Center Trail
Location: Livingston, MT
Trail Condition: Mostly ok with some needed weed control. Most of the trail is asphalt with a short section through the park at the depot on narrow concrete sidewalk.
Signage: No directional, some warning.
Comments: This trail starts at the train depot in the center of town and ends up parallel to busy highway 89. Nothing special about this trail. Would by-pass this one.
