The Marcus J. Molinaro Northside Line is a 0.57 mile dual-track trail that connects trail users between the city and town of Poughkeepsie.
While the northern end of the route is still under construction as of December 2023, trail users can currently start at W Cedar St. and head south for nearly 0.6 miles along a wide 16-22 ft, dual-track asphalt trail that carries trail users throughout the heart of Poughkeepsie until reaching its southern end at New York State Route 9G.
At the southern end of the trail, the Northside Line connects to the William R. Steinhaus Dutchess Rail Trail and the Walkway Over the Hudson, both of which are part of the Empire State Trail, a 750-mile trail network spanning the state from New York City to Canada and Buffalo to Albany.
Heading west, the Walkway Over the Hudson connects to the Hudson Valley Rail Trail and heading William R. Steinhaus Dutchess Rail Trail connects to the Maybrook Trailway.
Currently, there is no designated parking for this trail.
