Crystal white beaches and Florida-blue water are all par for the course at Navarre Beach. The Bike Path is a low-stress way to travel along Gulf Boulevard/ CR 399 to through the residential part of Navarre Beach, connecting those residents to Navarre Beach Marine Park at its eastern end. Check the wind before you embark: running or riding into a beach headwind adds to the challenge of the journey, though it shouldn't discourage you from heading out. The views are worth it. The
The bike path is a segment of the Seashore section of the Florida Trail. The Seashore section also includes Pensacola Beach Trail.
There is no parking at the western end but you can park at Navarre Beach Marine Park (8739 Gulf Blvd) on the eastern end.
This bike trail starts at Navarre Beach Park and meanders along Gulf Blvd. it was a pleasant ride (one way) and a windy ride back! Thoroughly enjoyed looking at all of the nice houses with the Gulf behind them. It is a shared walk/ bike trail and the walkers were reluctant to move over.
This bike trail provides a wonderful way to explore the quaint coastal life of Navarre Beach. I parked at the Navarre Beach Marine Park on the 1st clear day after Hurricane Ida. Sand had blown across the trail in some places but I was pleasantly surprised to see a crew blowing the sand off the trail (well maintained).
Lovely scenery. Intimate view of coastal community. Locals friendly to bikers. Fun, breezy, delightful ride with easy access to beach and Sound.
Views are amazing! Ride is amazing! The Mardi Gras parade at Navarre was also today so to and from we were driving through crowds to get to the trail but so worth it. We brought our bikes. We always look for potential rental for when family and friends visit but didn’t see rental although there may have been in either Navarre or Pensacola Beach and we just didn’t notice.
My husband and I took this trail and loved having the ocean on one side and the sound on the other side. Breezy, beautiful, and not difficult. Can’t wait to go again!
