As its name suggests, this well-maintained trail does sit on the side of NC-55, but that's not the whole story. The trail is a space for fitness and recreation, pleasantly landscaped, and paved so that it's an easy run or ride. The trail also serves as a connector. Residents can use it to reach any number of town business that are located along this arterial, for one. In addition, it also bridges two prominent area trails: the Batchelor Branch Greenway to the north, and the over 4-mile long White Oak Creek Greenway to the south.
There is no dedicated parking for this trail.
