Ninth Street Trail Description

This concrete bike and pedestrian trail adds 1.3 miles to Goshen's developing trail network, linking Goshen College to Goshen High School and downtown. The trail runs begins at E. Purl Avenue and continues along the west side of 9th Street up to Jackson Street. There, a tabletop crossing allows cyclists and pedestrians to safely follow the trail to the east side of the street. From here, the trail parallels train tracks down to Goshen campus, where it meets the Winona Interurban Trail. At its north end on Purl Avenue, trail users can connect to the Central City Trail, another one of the Maple City's Greenways, which runs parallel to this trail, but along 8th Street, and which also provides access to the long and scenic Pumpkinvine Nature Trail.
