The Panola Mountain Greenway is a multiuse, paved trail that winds through the woods for almost 3 miles in Stockbridge. Although the surface of the trail is smooth and wide, the route is somewhat hilly and includes a covered bridge over SR 155.
At its southern end, this scenic trail dead ends in the woods just east of Austin Road Middle School. At its northern end, the trail ends at a connection with the Arabia Mountain Path in Panola Mountain State Park. The northeast section of the Panola Mountain Greenway is also included in the Rockdale River Trail route.
Access the trail via one of these other trails, in Panola Mountain State Park, at the mid-route trailhead (5606 Alexanders Lake Rd SW, Stockbridge), or on Rock Road. Henry County plans to extend the trail south.
Panola Mountain State Park (2620 Georgia 155 SW, Stockbridge) has restrooms, picnic tables, and a playground.
