The Paradise Boulevard Trail is a sidepath trail that runs along the side of Paradise Boulevard for almost three miles in northern Albuquerque. The majority of the trail is smooth, ten-foot wide asphalt and concrete, but there are sections where the trail narrows to normal sidewalk width, so cyclists should be prepared to slow down to accommodate traffic in the tighter spaces. The trail helps to fill in a large gap between segments of the Paseo del Norte Trail and connects to the southern end of the Unser Boulevard Trail North, allowing trail users to get around the sprawling suburban communities with ease.
The western end of the trail provides access to local schools, parks, and athletic fields in the Paradise Hills area - the Paradise Hills Community Center and adjacent park are popular recreation destinations on nice days, with ample playgrounds and an outdoor pool. Heading east, the trail passes through numerous residential areas on its way to Golf Course Road, where it comes to an end on the edge of the titular golf course. From there, the Golf Course Road Trail provides a pathway that continues south to connect with more of the area trail network, or you can take bike lanes and sidewalk further down Paradise Boulevard.
Parking is available along the trail at the Paradise Hills Community Center, located at 5901 Paradise Boulevard.
