Residents of Pflugerville are blessed with nearly 40 miles of trail spread across the city. The Plfugerville Parkway Trail allows to cross from the east side of the Austin suburb, to the west without the use of a car. Single-family homes in fast-growing subdivisions dominate the scenery along the concrete pathway, interspersed with fields and pastures. The trail is best for those looking for a safe space to exercise close to home. While there is greenery around, there are no trees so keep that in mind if going out on a hot day. There's not much signage to be seen, but fortunately, the route is very straightforward - just stay on the north side of the parkway between Greenlawn Boulevard and Colorado Sand Drive.
