Lancaster residents of all ages can use the Pleasant Run Hike and Bike Trail for their outdoor recreation - be it an early morning jog, an easy stroll or a safe place to run or ride for little ones. Rest stations, with benches and trash receptacles, are available along the way. The non-motorized trail passes through neighborhood and near schools, making it an option for school days too.
The concrete trail utilizes Oncor (electric utility) easement from a point just north of Main Street to another point west of Prairie Drive. However, the trail is not continuous: one segment runs from Houston School Road to the west end point. The other longer segment (the east segment) sits between Main Street and Mill Branch.
There is no dedicated parking for this trail.
